How the Program Works
1. Return & Earn: For every bottle you return, you’ll receive a $0.75 credit towards your next Cocoon purchase. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us reduce waste.

The Macadamia tree obtained its name from the German-Australian botanist Ferdinand von Mueller who named the tree after his friend and scientist, Dr. John Macadam. Indigenous people in Queensland had been consuming macadamia nuts for centuries before Europeans had discovered it. Indigenous cultures refer to the macadamia nut as bauple, gyndl, jindilli, and boombera. Macadamia nut oil boasts many health benefits due to its high levels of selenium, zinc and fatty acids. These trees are often planted on roadsides in Malaysa to provide shade and spread its beautiful scent.

I think I prefer the lavender and rosemary scent to the Kahuna, but I love the Cocoon Apothecary soaps and hand lotions. I’m a little obsessive about washing my hands, so they’re often very dry. I also have sensitivities to a lot of ingredients (shea is a real problem for me), so it can be difficult to find soaps and hand lotions that I don’t react to. I’m very pleased with the way this soap + lotion makes my hands feel - soft, moisturized, and not at all greasy.
