Olive Oil

Olive oil is a natural oil derived from the fruit of the olive tree. It has been used for centuries for cooking, but it also has a wide range of benefits for skin care. Here are some of the ways that olive oil can benefit your skin:
-

-
Anti-aging properties: Olive oil contains a high concentration of squalene, which is a natural substance that helps to reduce the signs of aging. Squalene helps to boost collagen production, which helps to keep your skin firm and youthful.
-
Reduces inflammation: Olive oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce redness and inflammation on the skin. It also contains vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
-
Improves skin elasticity: Olive oil is rich in oleic acid, which helps to improve the elasticity of the skin. This can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
-
Treats acne: Olive oil is a natural antibacterial agent that can help to reduce the bacteria that causes acne. It also helps to moisturize the skin without clogging pores.
-
Soothes sunburn: Olive oil has natural soothing properties that can help to reduce the inflammation and pain associated with sunburn. It also helps to moisturize the skin, which can prevent peeling and dryness.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is a popular ingredient in skin care products due to its nourishing and moisturizing properties. Derived from the nuts of the shea tree, shea butter is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, making it an excellent choice for dry or damaged skin.
But did you know that shea butter can also provide natural sun protection? While shea butter alone is not enough to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, it can be used as a complementary ingredient in sunscreens or as a post-sun treatment to soothe and repair sun-damaged skin.
Shea butter contains a high concentration of vitamin E, which has been shown to have some UV-protective effects. Additionally, the fatty acids in shea butter can help to create a barrier on your skin, which can help to prevent moisture loss and protect your skin from environmental stressors, including sun damage.
When used in combination with other natural ingredients such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, shea butter can help to enhance the sun protection provided by a sunscreen. And because shea butter is a natural ingredient, it is gentle on your skin and less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions.
After sun exposure, shea butter can also help to soothe and repair sun-damaged skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties can reduce redness and inflammation, while its moisturizing effects can help to prevent peeling and promote faster healing.
Overall, shea butter is an excellent ingredient to include in your skin care routine, especially if you are looking for natural sun protection or after-sun care. Look for products that contain shea butter and other natural ingredients for the best results.

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is a natural fat extracted from cocoa beans that has been used for centuries in various industries including food, medicine, and cosmetics. It is a popular ingredient in skincare products due to its many benefits for the skin.
One of the main benefits of cocoa butter is its ability to moisturize the skin. It contains fatty acids that are easily absorbed by the skin, which helps to create a barrier that prevents moisture loss. This makes cocoa butter a great ingredient for people with dry or sensitive skin.
In addition to its moisturizing properties, cocoa butter also has antioxidant properties. It contains a variety of antioxidants, including vitamin E, which help to protect the skin from environmental stressors such as pollution and UV radiation. This can help to prevent premature aging and the development of fine lines and wrinkles.
Cocoa butter is also rich in natural plant compounds called phytochemicals. These compounds have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce inflammation and redness in the skin. This makes cocoa butter a great ingredient for people with acne-prone or sensitive skin.
Furthermore, cocoa butter contains oleic acid, which is known to have a positive effect on the skin's elasticity. This can help to improve the overall texture and tone of the skin, making it look more youthful and vibrant.
In summary, cocoa butter is a wonderful ingredient for skincare products due to its ability to moisturize, protect, and improve the overall health of the skin. Whether you have dry, sensitive, or acne-prone skin, incorporating cocoa butter into your skincare routine can be a great way to keep your skin looking and feeling its best.

Really nice!
I received a sample of this soap in my most recent purchase (what a lovely little surprise!). It is amazing!! The scent is not strong (which I love). The lather is really nice and it does not irritate or dry out my sensitive skin!! I’m definitely going to add this to my next order!!

Bar Soap - Coffee Scrub review

Soap
Love Love Love This!!

.
Fantastic

coffee scrub
nice smell and scrub works great

Great soap
Seems to last forever. Nice subtle fragrance. Only complaint is that I find it hard to hold initially, so shape a bit awkward.

It's my Favourite now
The coffee scrub side of this soap is VERY GRITTY. I actually love it for my feet (gross, I know, I'm sorry!) but it's too rough anywhere else. The soap side is really nice and moisturizing. Both sides smell great! I can see myself re-purchasing this over and over.

Kind of like a 2-in-1
I'm enjoying this soap. I find the cube shape is easy to hold! I especially like how the bottom bit is gritty and is exfoliating, it's so much better than having one soap for exfoliating a couple times a week + a regular one! It smells great and I don't find the scent to be too strong.

Coffee Scrub Soap is my very favourite.
This is my very favourite soap for the shower. I love how it smells and feels. It's hydrating for my skin, and I enjoy the exfoliating coffee side. It's pretty enough to give as a gift, but you're going to want to keep it for yourself.

Excellent products.
Will recommend to family and friends!

Smells devine
Can't wait to use this. It smells so good through the package.
