Q : À quelle fréquence dois-je utiliser ce masque ?
R : Une fois par semaine est idéal pour la plupart des peaux. Si votre peau est très grasse, vous pouvez l'utiliser deux fois par semaine, en surveillant la tolérance.
Q : Va-t-il dessécher ma peau ?

CanadaCleanse the impurities from your skin
I am new to the Ancient Mud facial mask. I use it once per week to go a little deeper in getting rid of environmental impurities. It dries very fast, I leave it on for 10 minutes (as directed) then wash it off gently in lukewarm water. My face feels so clean afterward. I am very pleased with this product!

CanadaSurprisingly Harsh on Sensitive Skin
Love the smell and feel of this mask when applying it. However, with a thin layer and only 5 minutes on, I started to feel some uncomfortable tingling. Washed the mask off right away and my skin is hot, angry red. Unfortunate experience, but absolutely love all the other Cocoon products I use. The mask just isn't for me.

Good morning Anastasia, I am sorry that your skin had such a strong reaction to our Ancient Mud facial mask. This product is very concentrated and has a high salt content, and this reaction is not unexpected, especially the first time trying the product. This product can feel active/tingling on the skin and cause redness as it brings the blood close to the surface of the skin. If you are willing to try the product again, I would recommend you start with a facial toner so your face is damp and then apply the mask. Your skin may still have a strong reaction, but this should dissipate with continued use. I am sorry your experience wasn't as expected. Hi Jen, I am sorry to hear you experienced a burning sensation when using the Ancient Mud. This product is very active and intense as it has deep sea minerals in it. So it is not uncommon for it to feel active on the skin with a high tingling sensation or burning sensation on first use. This will improve on the second, third etc. use as your skin becomes used to the minerals and salts in the mud. Please ensure you you mix the product well before use. The mask does a deep exfoliation and combined with other forms of regular exfoliation may leave the new cells to feel aggravated with the dead sea mud as there are natural salts within it. If you are using this mask and have sensitive skin it may not be the best choice to put all over your face. My skin reacts to products easily and after using this mask it leaves my skin red and dry. However! You can definitely go in after with a hydrating mask( which is what I did the second time trying it and it went much better!) I think it would be really good for a T zone area or spot treatment area.!

I recently purchased and tried the Mud-mask, and I absolutely love it! I have genuinely noticed an improvement on the colour of my blackheads as well as the texture on my forehead! In only four uses! (about a month) It smells natural and refreshing, it feels amazing! I have acne prone skin and I have been using Cocoon's Products for just about a year now, and my skin has improved so much! The product goes on dark green and turns to a light green when it's dry, in about ten minutes. One time I left it on for far to long and my skin was a little red afterword's, so I defiantly recommend following the instructions if you have sensitive skin! My bad!
